Creative Japanese cakes

Looking for an unconventional birthday cake? I’d suggest you head out to a cake shop in Kyoto Station for a wide selection of some delicious looking fruit cakes. The Japanese consider cake-making a form of art and shops can hardly afford not to compete with creativity. Found these last year while trying to find our way at the huge main station in Kyoto, Japan. Mind you, these on the display are just plastic models, sort of like a menu to see what you can buy inside.
