Feast at Fraise des Bois

Here’s one restaurant we visited today that definitely deserves its Daily Onigiri honorable mention! ;) It’s an Italian restaurant called Bois Toscana near Saitama City, with an adjacent cake shop Fraise des Bois. Don’t ask me why they use a French name for an Italian place *in* Japan. Anyhow, hats down, they have some of the best tasting Italian food I’ve ever tried, yet the prices are still very reasonable. Pizza is crazy delicious, tastes more Italian than in Italy. The food is truly so good I could talk about it all day, just like when you see a good movie that you can’t forget. We went out for lunch there every time I’ve come to Japan. This time it was around lunch time so we had to wait about half an hour to get seated as people kept rolling in. Afterwards, we got some fine desserts from the cake shop (see pictures below).
