Pellermodel lets you build 3D action figure of yourself

If you’re into origami and 3D puzzles, then you will like Pellermodel — a new toy for kids and adults that lets you create your own action figure (or of someone else) which you can twist and pose all you want. In the Pellermodel kit for about $6 you’ll find an empty plastic humanoid figure (in white, yellow, green or pink color) that you can decorate with your face and clothes. The product is made by Bandai and started selling in Japan on July 18th.

To make things easier for the user, Bandai created a Pellermodel web site where you can download a special Pellermodel Maker software that lets you create a template with face and clothes which you can then print it out and press onto the plastic model. There are about 70 different templates available for clothes and various accessories.
