The Rebirth of Buddha anime feature film coming out soon

The controversial religious organization Happy Science (Kofoku no Kagaku) has released a trailer for its latest anime feature film The Rebirth of Buddha (仏陀再誕 – Buddha Saitan) based on the book with the same title by Ryuho Okawa that tells about the revival of Buddha on the eve of the world’s destruction. The voices are done by Ami Koshimizu, Hiroyuki Yoshino, Takehito Koyasu, Kotono Mitsuishi, and Ryoko Shiraishi. The theme song Satori ni Challenge is sung by a Korean singer Woo Sung Min.

The Rebirth of Buddha comes out in theaters in Japan on October 17th.
