Tumi-Ishi wooden blocks pile on game

While randomly browsing the net today, I found this neat product called Tumi-Ishi, the brainwork of a Japanese design studio A4. Tumi-Ishi is sort of a modern version of an ancient Japanese rock piling game, meant for people of all ages that lets you train your sense for balance and creativity.

The set contains 9 wooden blocks (polyhedrons) which are hand-made from factory wood cut-offs. They look like small wooden rocks, each with its own shape, size, color and texture for making all kinds of combinations. It seems like you can buy Tumi-Ishi only at Umbra.

Sculptures made with these blocks look like works of art! Simple and creative.
