Grand Pianist: The world’s smallest grand piano

Japanese company Sega Toys is selling an insanely small grand piano which is an almost identical copy of a real piano.

This miniature piano, called Grand Pianist, measures 25 cm (9.8″) in width, 18 cm (7″) in height and 33 cm (13″) in length. It is powered by electricity and includes 100 pre-installed songs. It comes with an SD memory card slot.

The full 88-key keyboard features keys that are only 4 millimeters wide and can be used for actual playing (that is, if you’re a gnome). The piano which weights 3.6 kg (8 lbs) is available in black and white versions and even includes a miniature seat.

The toy is not cheap — in Japan it’s sold for 49,350 Yen (about $610 or 424 EUR).
