Japanese designer toy maker MediCom Toy Inc. has launched a new limited series of Be@rbrick figures featuring Spongebob Squarepants. Be@rbrick figures are highly collectable and usually collected by adults. The company products figures in limited numbers which are never re-released. The basic shape of a simplified bear is the same in every series.
Many famous contemporary artists and designer have put their designs on these figures, including H.R. Giger, Karl Lagerfeld, Vivienne Westwood and others.

A few weeks ago we were talking about pillows shaped like banana. This time let’s check out these fancy Rilakkuma pillows! Rilakkuma is a cute Japanese character whose name is a combination of the words relax and kuma (bear in Japanese). Relaxation bear? Hmm, possibly!
The gigantic pillows measure about 1 meter in length.

Did you know that Hello Kitty is 35 years old? If you’re a fan of this character, you will not want to miss the Hello Kitty Selection Celebrity Party in Shibuya this week for the 35th anniversary of Hello Kitty. You will be able to buy selected Hello Kitty goods from September 16 – 27, 2009 in the passageway between the two Tokyu department stores at the Shibuya Station.
